Dutch Modular Fest – DIY Programme

Want to build your own module at Dutch Modular Fest 2026? To secure a spot in one of our DIY workshops, you’ll need to purchase a workshop ticket via the link below. Please note that this is separate from your festival ticket — you’ll need both to attend.

The available kits for each workshop are listed below, so take a look and pick the one that suits you best.

Each workshop is offered in two time slots, so be sure to check carefully which slot you’re signing up for before completing your purchase.

Spots are limited, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch with us before the festival.

Synthux Academy

When: Slot 1 – 12:30 tot 14:30
Where: Pirate Bay

Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll solder and assemble your very own synth. No experience or tools required. The workshop is ran by Roey Tsemah, Synthux founder and designer. At the end of the workshop you’ll have a working synthesizer you can simply plug and play. Check out the complete build tutorials here.

Timo Rozendal

When: Slot 1 – 12:30 tot 14:30
Where: Pirate Bay

Timo’s module designs grow out of his own experience performing live with a diy modular system, and the things he finds himself missing on stage. Hands-on, immediate and focused on performance. At Dutch Modular Fest, you’ll have the chance to build one yourself under his guidance.

Shakmat

When: Slot 2 – 15:00 tot 17:00
Where: Pirate Bay

Build your Shakmat DIY kit with the Shakmat team and get a fully working kit every time ! You’ll meet with core Shakmat guys and get help (if needed 😉 all the way along.

Into experimental sounds, glitches, and noise? Join the ERROR Instruments workshop and create your own instrument. Discover, experiment, and take home a unique tool for making sound.
