Getting to WORM Rotterdam by Public Transport
WORM is located at Boomgaardsstraat 71 in the heart of Rotterdam and is easily accessible by public transport. The most convenient way to reach WORM is by metro, tram, or bus.
From Rotterdam Central Station, you can take Metro lines B, C, or E and get off at Eendrachtsplein. From there, it’s just a 3-minute walk to WORM. Trams 7 and 20 also stop nearby at Museumpark, which is also just a short walk away. Alternatively, bus lines 32 and 867 stop at Westblaak or Blaak, which are both within 5–7 minutes walking distance from the venue.
If you prefer to walk from Rotterdam Central Station, it takes about 8 minutes on foot. The route takes you straight down Westersingel, turning into Witte de Withstraat—a lively street filled with bars, galleries, and shops—until you reach Boomgaardsstraat.
For tickets, you can use an OV-chipkaart (the Dutch public transport card) or purchase a day pass. Make sure to check in and out at each station or vehicle. A 2-hour RET ticket costs around €4, and a full day pass is about €9. If you’re planning to use multiple forms of transport throughout the day, a day pass is the most convenient option.

Public transport in Rotterdam generally runs from early morning (around 5:30 AM) until midnight. On weekends, night buses may be available, but be sure to check schedules in advance if you’re planning to travel late.
If you want to come by car
Driving into the city is possible, but keep in mind that Rotterdam’s inner city is busy and has limited parking options. If you plan to arrive by car, it’s best to prepare in advance.
WORM is easily reached from the A13, A15, or A16 highways. Once you enter the city centre, follow signs for Museumpark or Westblaak. Boomgaardsstraat is a side street off Witte de Withstraat, one of Rotterdam’s liveliest streets.
There is no dedicated parking at WORM, but several public parking garages are nearby. The closest options include:
- Parkeergarage Westblaak (Hartmanstraat 35)
- Parkeergarage Museumpark (Museumpark 32)
- Parkeergarage Schouwburgplein (Schouwburgplein 22)
All are within a 5 to 10-minute walk from the venue. Rates typically range from €2.50 to €4 per hour, with daily maximums depending on the garage. Some garages offer online reservations or discount day rates, so it’s worth checking ahead.
Street parking in the area is available but limited and more expensive. It’s also restricted to paid hours, and spots fill up quickly, especially on weekends. Be sure to check local signs for payment zones and maximum durations.

Driving can be convenient if you’re bringing gear or coming from out of town, but we recommend combining it with walking or public transport for the last stretch if possible.
