Driven by a desire to make the perfect groovebox, Thomas Margolf of XOR Electronics surprised the eurorack scene in 2017 by dropping NerdSEQ, a module that employs “tracker” style sequencing with plenty of in- and outputs and an enormous screen (for eurorack standards at least).
The interface of the machine is very reminiscent of sequencers used in the dawn of home computing, with functionality and features being the key focus and rave music not far behind those.
